"Same story." Xash slammed the book on the table.
"Why in the world will they adapt this disgusting book into a movie? I'm sure it won't sell."
"There are people out there who wouldn't buy it. I just hate the protagonist, the villain is more wiser than him."
"Too bad the Villain was killed by the protagonist. I hate the plot and everything about the protagonist, I wish I could kill the protagonist in place of the Villain!"
Xash grinned.
It showed clearly in his face that he meant what he said. If only he was the villain, he would have ended the protagonist's life before anything.
He fling the novel over to a corner and placed his head on the table to sleep.
After a few seconds, he felt something dropping on the table beside him. Thinking that it might be someone putting something on his table, he immediately lifted his head.
Disappointingly, there was no single soul in his office.
"Wait, who's playing tricks on me? Reveal yourself now!"
Xash said but there was still no response.
Sighs...
He heaved a sigh of relief as he saw that no one was in his office.
"I think I was just imagining things." He said.
But as he was about to place his head on his desk, he saw the book he threw away some minutes ago, now on his desk again.
"Wait, didn't I throw this book away."
He grabbed the book again and tossed it over to the trash bin. But before it could enter the trash bin, the book suddenly started making its way back to Xash's desk.
"What's going on?"
The book was now on his desk again, and that was surprising to Xash.
He grabbed the book once again and threw it into the bin but the book flew back to his desk again.
"Hey! Who's doing that? Reveal yourself now or I'll burn this book to ash."
He brought out the lighter he had in his trouser pocket and proceeded on burning the book but as he brought his hands near the book, something suddenly bit his hands.
It was like a tooth biting on a finger.
"Argh! Who's that?"
Xash withdrew his hands as he tended to the pain he was feeling.
"I am Tate, an A1 System."
A voice came from the novel that stood in front of Xash.
"A system?" Xash blurted out.
Due to his experience in reading multiple System novels, he knew how the system works. How it sounds in the mind of the protagonist. It may be a female voice or a male voice, but they always act proud and gullible toward the host who is the protagonist.
Especially in the novel; A Hero Indeed, The A1 System treats the protagonists like a slave. As the host of the body, you should give commands to the parasite, not the other way round.
Although the protagonist has a system, the villain do not, which gave the Hero protagonist the chance to defeat the villain so easily.
Xash felt that the villain was treated badly in the novel. His evil deeds wasn't worth his manhood and throat that was cut off.
At least the villain only raped the protagonist's sister, and only got caught due to the protagonist system who notified him. What if he had raped his girlfriend and mother? What would he have done then?
And besides, it was the protagonist sister who seduced the villain in the first place.
If only he could meet with whoever the novel writer was, he would want him or her to add more evil deeds to what the villain did.
The protagonist killed innocent people and wasn't punished for that.
If anyone deserves to die, it is the protagonist not the villain.
But Xash was more concerned about something.
"I thought all systems speak in the mind of their host. But this voice claiming to be a System is not coming from my mind. It is coming from somewhere else."
"Yes, I'm coming from the book in front of you."
Now that the voice said this, Xash realized that the voice was indeed coming from the book in front of him.
"What are you?"
"I already told you." The system flashed back.
"Then why are you here?!" Xash said angrily.
"Err, sorry. I can see that you're an impatient man, so I'll just go straight to the point. I know you are familiar with the Hero indeed novel. A lot of people do not know but it was written by a person called the seer. She heard you complaining about her novel, she said you hated the novel."
"Of course I hate it, and what's your business with that?!"
"Since you hated the novel, you could create one yourself. You just have to transmigrate into the novel and change the plots to your liking."
"You mean you want me to transmigrate into the novel and change the already existing plots?"
"I believe you're right Sir. Certain rewards and Power-ups would be given to you if you agree to transmigrate into the Hero Indeed novel."
"Holy shit, are you kidding me?" Xash scoffed. "Even if I'm going to transmigrate into a novel, it won't be in that useless book. I so much hate it."
"That's why we need you to change the plots to your liking. The seer chose you because you have the capability of changing the plots."
"Ahahahah. This is a joke right?" Xash laughed. "I don't know who the seer is, how the hell did she know me? Who is she? Where does she inhabit? Why did she choose me?"
"That's too many questions for me, I don't think I would be able to..."
"Then fuck off if you can't answer them." Xash roared.
"S-Sir, but I..."
"I don't want a system, get lost," Xash said and the system instantly kept mute. Xash is a hot-headed man, it will be so difficult to convince him. Tate had no choice but to wait till Xash has calmed down.
Xash threw the book inside the trash bin and waited to see if the book will fly back to his desk but surprisingly nothing happened.
After a few minutes of waiting, Xash still didn't hear any words from the system and that pleased him so much. A smile formed on his lips as he placed his head on the table to sleep.
Instead of reading the disgusting novel, Xash will use the next six hours that were given to them by the director to sleep.
Few minutes later, Xash had drifted off into a deep sleep and was no longer aware of what was happening in his surroundings.
"It doesn't seem like he'll transmigrate, what will we do?" A System from the book said.
"How about you try? This guy is really tough, you seem like the perfect person to deal with someone like him." Tate said.
"No no no, I'm not going."
"Do you want to get us eliminated by the seer?" Tate said.
"Urgh! I so much hate you. But I'm still not going to talk to him." The System said as she made the book fly once again and was now on Xash's desk.
"He's the perfect candidate for this job, the seer would get mad at us if we're unable to convince him." Tate replied.
"What will we do then?"
"We have no choice but to do it the hard way," Tate said.
"Don't tell me..."
"Yes, we're doing it that way. And I'll be his system. I'll teach this brat not to look down on systems." Tate grinned.
