Calista was standing there in a blood red form fitting dress wearing high heels, her hair was pulled up and a crown on her head. Calista was wearing the most expensive jewelry in the kingdom that her mother gave her that was made of red, black, and clear diamonds that also had runes etched inside of them to protect her.
A young man with dark blue hair and was around Calistas age stood next to her glaring at other men who approached her, he only talked about himself not even trying to get to know a single thing about her.
A girl around Calistas age walks up to her then hugs her as they excitedly squeal at each other, the dark blue haired girl grew up with Calista since her father was a close friend of the kings for years and they would always play together in the garden for hours a day.
" Are you excited about your birthday" Len asked her, when Calista shrugs the boy steps in between them staring down at Len who was the same height of 5'7" just like a couple of inches taller than Calista and since the man was over 6'0 tall she had to look up at him.
" you are being quiet rude to interrupt us so run along peasant " the man said with a smirk, Len was about to say something to him when Calista stomps her heel down on the boys foot making him scream out in pain.
Everyone watching tried to hold their laughter since he was a prince from a visiting kingdom, Calista held her hand over her mouth acting as if it's a accident while waving over a servant.
" please take him to a seat , I accidentally stepped on his foot" Calista said as the boys tear filled eyes glared at her while a elderly man tried to help the prince who smacked the man's hands away from him.
" Forgive me pince Alasdair" the elderly man said bowing to the man as he limps off to make his way out from the ball room, he goes into a nearby sitting room followed by two of his servants that came with him to this palace.
" take this and make sure to serve the girl a drink with this inside then watch her, when she is drowsy enough lead her to me" Alasdair said with a mischievous grin as the two men bowed then exited the room, Lillian was watching the whole time and it's a good thing she decided to follow the spoiled man to where he was now.
Alasdair yawned trying to keep his eyes open while his head kept nodding while he fought to keep his eyes open, he finally opened his eyes after a few minutes of them closing and he stands up.
" huh well at least my foot doesn't hurt anymore" Alasdair said while moving his foot, he looks around the room noticing how quiet it is and how the voices and music from the ball room could no longer be heard. Alasdair walks out of the sitting room glancing around the dark hallway where he could see no one in sight, he walks back to the ballroom that is completely empty and earily quiet as he walks further in.
" walk~with me hand in hand through the garden of sin~Stay with me~ help me with my sin of you~" Lillian was singing a song while appearing near a tall marble pillar, the man couldn't keep his eyes off of the woman who was not only very sexy but beautiful and he walks toward her.
" where did everyone go...I fell asleep...maybe I slept through that dumb girls birthday party" Alasdair said to himself while walking over to the beautiful woman while fixing his hair and tuxedo, she smiles at him when he stops in front of her and nods his head.
" my name is prince Alasdair and it's a pleasure to meet a beauty like you" Alasdair said with a smirk while Lillians red eyes stayed on his face without showing any kind of emotion, when she didn't answer or acknowledge him he gritted his teeth grabbing her wrist.
The next second he was standing there holding a woman's wrist and the next he was on the floor being cut and stabbed by the woman's long tail.
Blood was now covering the man and he felt the pain as his screams wouldn't stop echoing in the large room, the woman pulls his head up by his chin making the man look up at her face.
" leave this place now and don't ever bother those two girls again unless you really want to end up like this or even worse" Lillian said while sneering at the man, she reaches out with her nails then plucks his eyeball from it's socket while the man was screaming bloody murder.
The boy fell from the chair hitting his face on a table cutting his eyelid while screaming, servants ran in along with guards finding the man kneeling on the ground and all the commotion brought a lot of the guests to the doorway as well. Calista and Len made their way into the room, the man's two servants was walking in to help their master as he was rambling about a red headed woman with a tail who took his eye. Everyone gasped but then noticed the man had both his eyes with only a cut on his lid with a damaged eye still there while both his servants gave him a sympathetic look while seeing blood on the corner of the table as everyone else did as well. The two servants helped him to his feet, he saw Calista and her friend Len and glared for a few seconds but saw a flash of red hair behind them so he looked away.
" Your Majesty let's take you to your quarters" his servant said as Alasdair looks down at his body then feels his face as he exhales, he spotted Calista and her friend again and he shuddered looking at them.
" No have my carriage prepared, then get me a room at a nearby inn....no better yet take me home instead of leaving in the morning to head back home " Alasdair said limping by all of the guest while a older man that was one of the head council members of the kings look on in disbelief making his way beside Prince Alasdair walking out the front doors as a carriage pulls up.
" Alasdair.. where are you going, we had a deal and we even made sure you'd get Calista tonight with the help of a few of her servants" Rau said while sweat was pouring down his face, the stops then looks at the old man then huffs while Crossing his arms.
" nope...I'll be leaving" Alasdair said hopping inside of the carriage closing the door in the man's face who stood there with a confused look while Lillian was watching him, she notices a couple of servants that usually waits on Calista quickly walks up to him while nervously glancing around.
There was two women and two men who approached him, one was the older lady who usually teaches Calista while the other one was a maid with the two butlers. Lillian narrows her eyes at the five people watching them from the shadows and doesn't notice Adrian beside her.
" kill all five after finding out who else is in on this, unless you see a reason you need them alive " Adrian said making Lillian flinch, she nods her head and when she looks over Adrian kisses her lips gently and when she opened her eyes Adrianas was no longer there.
The five people went back to doing their chores and left the party except for the young maid who stayed by Calista's side.
Lillian follows one of the butlers who was making his way to the servants quarters, he looks around to make sure no one else is in the room while removing a vial from his pocket to hide in a box under his bed. Lillian was standing behind him and she wraps her tail around his neck jerking him hard to where he lands on his back.
" Tsk Tsk now tell me who else besides you five plan on hurting the princess and I can tell if you lie to me boy and I can also smell the greed for money coming from you... I'm giving you the chance before the others to tell me all that plan to hurt the royal family or one of you will while the rest of you die" Lillian said as the man looked at her horns and canines, he started pissing himself while looking at the demon, she sneered then steps out of the way of his flowing piss. He couldn't make out all her features except for the wings, horns, teeth and tail while a shadow hid everything else and her red eyes that stared at him while he gasped for air when she tightens her tail around his throat.
" All..I...know it is of Rau, Alasdair and Tano the other butler, the women were threatened with Calista's life while Tanos wants to be on the council and I need gold. They recruited the two women tonight with Alasdair when I followed Tanos he mentioned A Rollins and um...that's all I swear " He said without much difficulty once Lillian loosened her tail on his neck, he was about to be fully truthful but he held out on some names that she could guess are higher ups while this Rollins belongs to a demon army that she doesn't know much about.
" You're useless, I gave you a chance and you still can't give all the names like you could truck me " Lillian said as she tightens her tail again listening to the man gasp and wither against the floor until she heard a loud crack then the man's body went limp. She puts his body in the bed then takes the box with her searching the room finding a lot of low grade treasures and also treasures that seemed shrouded so she cleans them all out., as she disappears in the shadows where she finds the old woman in the room where she teaches Calista.
" Damn brat I should have hired two of those miscreants to come and take her away before those men decided all of this " Harriet said sitting down at her desk pulling out a drawer then a secret compartment that held several dozen items that caught Lillian's attention, She notices some nice elixers and other items that will be needed for her journey o ce she is do e here.
Lillian steps out as the woman was reading a note, she gasped when she seen someone standing in the corner of the room and she uses wind blades throwing multiple at the intruder.
Lillian let the wind blades hit her which doesn't put even a scratch on her, she smiles then seals the room with her dark magic where no one can see, hear, escape or enter unless she allows it.
Black wisps swirl around the woman wrapping her body completely even her mouth while Lillian skips over to the desk smiling at the woman whose eyes go big looking at the demon.
" come little one ~ come play with me ~let me have your sinful memories....come little one I'll take you away ~ to always be together with me..." Tai was singing when the woman went pale when Lillian gets close to her face, she rolled her eyes then made the room a little brighter.
" oh come on even if I'm a demon I'm hot and not that scary, unless you want me to show you a scary demon" Lillian said as the woman shook her head no while tears was running down her cheeks.
" oh stop crying, I feel the same way you do about brats but this is Adriana child and you have to be pretty dumb to try to do anything to her" Lillian said while sitting on top of the desk picking up the letter she was reading, that council member Rau with names of people to approach and not to approach, she was writing a secret letter to Adriana that explains everything that she has gathered.
" well ....Harriet it seems you do care for the Brat after all, that's why you always watched her and I need you to help me figure out what these people are planning. " Lillian said looking over the woman's features and feeling a strong magic coming from her that she tries to hide.
" well... Harriet it seems Rau has put you in a pickle and if you help me with weeding out these people I'll let you live even though you're hiding something, but you're trying to weed them out anyway for Adriana....Right " Lillian said with a innocent smile while the womans eyes looked down at the floor then back up to Lillian nodding her head.
Lillian waves her hands as the black wisp uncovers her mouth then she swallows hard with tears in her eyes, she looks over to the secret compartment in the drawer then back up at Lillian.
" all of the council members are aware or a part of this with some of their servants aware as well...the maid is dubious about this since she is deaf and the butler is one of the Raus men who is trained to kill. He is always near Calista so he has a chance to kill her at anytime " Harriet said as Lillian went through the things she wanted inside the drawer, Harriet could care less even if the some of the items were one of the kind and some was the reason she agreed to this to give them to Adriana.
" well your working for me now and believe when I say I'll be watching and listening to everything that you do, get that maid here " Lillian said walking over to a chair holding a square box that was a puzzle, she sits there turning and clicking pieces releasing Harriet from her dark magic. Harriet opens her door instructing a servant to retrieve Hannah immediately, she turns back to the demon taking a seat in a small wooden chair that she makes Calista sit in.
A few minutes later a blonde hair and green eyes beauty walks in the room then bows, she pulls out a notebook writing down words in a hurry with a serious face.
" Harriet I read those mens lips earlier...if I knew that were wanting to harm Calista I'd put a stop to it even if all of our lives would be taken." Hannah wrote while Harriet read it aloud nodding her head then pats Hannah's shoulder.
" it's fine I know you thought this was something good for her, Rau thought if the prince could quickly bed Calista the king would make them marry quickly and also this is Calistas guardian" Harriet said pointing over to a chair that was in a shadow where it looked like no one was there, Hannah read Harriets lips then walked over there squinting her eyes but still couldn't see anything.
Hannah's eyes go wide when she feels a pair of hands holding her waist but wanted to feel more of the person, she looks at Harriet with curiosity in her eyes since she seen fear in Harriet's which was rare. Hannah takes her hands holding the hands on her waist leaning back more.
(" it's a woman but I also feel something but I'm really excited for some reason") Hannah thought to herself leaning her head back to look at her woman holding her and smiled seeing the most beautiful woman she's ever seen.
Lillian pulls Hannah around making her face her holding her tightly against her chest then smiles at her, she thought that this woman would be scared but instead she started blushing making Lillian smile widen and started to get excited which Hannah felt pushing herself more to the Demon to feel her.
Lillian sniffs Hannah's neck making the girl gasp she felt tingling go throughout her body and Tai could feel her excitement, Harriet clears her throat making Lillian glare at the woman.
" you will be my servant from now on" Lillian said as the woman's hands went up to hold her sides, Lillian could tell by this woman's Aura that she was a good person and something more that's not awakened yet.
" Harriet she will no longer participate in anything we have to do, but I want you to trick Rau into thinking that Calistas already been promised to someone so choose a person that will make Rau lose his shit so he thinks his plan is a bust. Make sure to have a meeting with the others so they'll know that Raus plans a no go. Hannah you'll stay by Calistas side to watch for anyone who looks suspicious then find me and tell me " Lillian said releasing the woman from her hold, Hannah was still leaning against her with a blushing face storing all of the treasures from Harriet then pulls herself away from Hannah looking over at Harriet.
" has she always been deaf" Lillian said while looking closely at the girl who isn't scared to lean against her, waiting on Harriet to answer. Hannah waved her hands quickly then pulls out her notebook saying (" no ten years ago") Lillian nods her head stepping around Hannah looking at both women.
" go to Calistas room and protect her...if you see anyone who is working for the council let me know who or if they seem out of place, knock three times on the wall I'll find you if you need to contact me. I'm going to pay the butler a visit while Harriet you will work on Rau also find out about that General Rollins from the demons army " Lillian said walking closer to Harriet then leans close to her ear where Hannah couldn't read her lips.
" Harriet you better plan something to get those old men together or you will suffer more than just death my dear lady" Lillian said kissing Harriet on her lips making her glare at her, then steps back walking to the corner disappearing into the shadows. Hannah sighs with blushing cheeks walking to the door where Harriet taps her shoulder.
" be careful and take this" Harriet said handing a black dagger to her then hugging the girl, she opens the door then ushers the girl out who went straight to Calistas door.
Harriet smiles as her disguise wavers for a moment showing a young woman with white hair and purple eyes, she sent a message to Adriana then does as Lillian asked.
" that brat kissed me and I'll return the favor " Harriet said with a grin on her face while packing things up as the other things on her desk disappeared into the air
Harriet sent a smoke message to Rau saying that Calista is getting married to the Thalius kingdom since that was one of the kingdoms they hated and feared the most of joining hands with when a message was sent back saying meeting will be held in two days.
