Chapter 68 - No, I don't think I am

[Third person]

Gu Qin looked like a flaming demon as she stared at Adrian while glowing with an unrestrained purple aura, she had enough.

"Vermillion Flower art… a hundred blooms!" Guqin screamed like a mighty general, making it crystal clear her determination to destroy Adrian was now unmatched by anything.

He reminded her too much of Beming, with them not even being alike-- in any way– but the lack of care for life and unruly attitude they displayed seemed so similar to her.

"Oof, you snapped, but you look pretty cool… sister Gu any chance you can forgive what I said!" Adrian said with a pleading expression with his hands in prayer position. Gu Qin refused to believe him. Not anymore.

"Is he even a real young master? He could be lying to us just to fill the empty hole in his heart, damn bastard--had me excited for nothing! I need to find a different way to get my revenge!!!" Guqin thought with vicious intent in her eyes as a huge flower materialized at her back.

💮

BB responded with massive lighting-formed samurai with only half of its body that mightily hovered at her back.

Upon seeing the Goliath that radiated sparks, Guqin started having second thoughts. She stared at her too teammate but noticed they were already moving to the opposite side. It seemed she was alone.

"Damn, you traitors! Why is heaven so unfair… What do I do now? Should I flee…? No, they might attack me from behind! Especially those two… the ways they have tried to kill each other have always been so abnormal!!! Yeah, I can't risk it."

Guqin thought before taking a deep breath, reminiscing on the best method. Adrian, who saw this, got bored and said, "Give up-- swallow your rage and move on! You've done it for Beming! One more L won't kill you."

"Bastard, I will kill you!l

Gu Qin thought as all contemplation she had vanished as the plant art soared to the squad like a raging sea.

The samurai summoned a yellow katana and cut with blinding speed.

The ocean of blossoms, divided into two, exploding in a shower of petals as a result.

"Wow!!" the traitorous duo uttered as they watched the incredible scene, and Adrian ignored It as he brought to put a book from his inventory.

Gu Qin gritted her teeth while shocked at the power that inconspicuous bear displayed but not without hope, "I still have a chance. I don't even have to defeat! All I need to do is get him!"

Guqin optimistically thought, with a slight twitch of her eyebrows.

"Gu Qin, stop it! How will we get Young Master Adrian back if you keep acting like-"

"Shut up, Han!" Guqin screamed and intensified her onslaught, with her head and cheeks turning red. In short, she was angry.

"You made it worse! You damn fool!" Adrian scowled at Han Nah, but with a hidden thumbs up on and a wink.

"Ah, yes, forgive me!"

"I forgive!"

"Both of you shut up! And you fake, young master, take me seriously!!!"

Guqin interrupted with purple veins appearing on the surface of her skin.

"Oh, you want me to take you seriously?"

"Yes!"

"...Alright!"

Adrian then tapped on BB's back, and BB got the message as the samurai slowly vanished in a flash of sparks.

"I will take you… seriously!"

Adrian stood up while still at the back of BB, and Han and Mon fled from the area as their source of protection had been killed while thinking.

Han Nah," Is my money bag! I mean, Senior Adrian committing suicide?"

Mon Taa, "If they die, the Peng family won't let me go, no Guqin won't let me… I might have to work with Han Nah to escape this!"

The clusters of fluorescent greenery viciously drifted around them, with Adrian's expression not changing in the slightest.

"Any last words?" Gu Qin asked with her palms facing Adrian.

"Yes, I have words!"

"Say it!"

"Water feeds wood!"

"Huh!"

"Get rekt!"

The land of purple vegetation instantly melted to a liquid, and Adrian gave a sheepish smile.

"You won't like me when I am serious–Hulk noises–" he pointed his fingers to Gu and said, "I should kill you…but I want to see if you can succeed in killing a core expert-" Adrian dropped his fingers and said, "Not today, you keep living!"

The lavender-colored body of water melted into the ground, and Adrian sat back with a yawn.

"Well, off we go… follow us if you want! I don't care anymore."

Adrian said to his back, and the cultivator trio met together at a spot while looking at themselves in caution.

"So, uhm! What do we do now?" Han Nah asked the rest as he sneakily went to his space bag.

Gu Qin ignored him as she thought of something, "I lost? so… easily? How did he control my attack so effortlessly? It makes no sense! What the hell is he, and why is he so strong?"

"Hmm, that's a good question, junior brother Han!" Mon said with a smile that was irritating to view from any angle as he thought, "This atmosphere is not to my liking! Why don't we run after young master Adrian? That money bag is running! Let's go after it!!!"

Gu scrutinized in disgust. She was pissed off at how easily they switched sides during peril. Although, it wasn't that surprising. However, now she stood on the receiving end this time. She was out for blood.

"Senior sister Chin! What do you think we should do, I saw we follow him and kowtow-"

A blast of flowery energy interrupted Han, melting his skin off and replacing it with beautiful greenery.

"Yes, he's dead!! I knew senior sister Gu shared the same opinions as--Wait, stop, don't!"

The same cruel fate arrested Mon as his body morphed into a fluorescent cadaver.

"I don't have time to waste on your schemes! I have a goal to complete, and I can't hang around with someone who's both a weakling and a traitor!"

Gu Qin said with scorn as she looked down at their corpse. She then glanced at the child bear duo far away and pondered her next set of actions.

"To follow…or not to follow?"
