POV of Damian
I spoke with Jennifer six days ago, and that time has already passed. I've pleaded with her to join my pack for six days. She wasn't close by, and the long days were making me insane. She frequently entered and exited the pack house as well as entered the woods while I was watching her. I was going crazy over it.
She can feel my presence around her and I can feel her fierce gaze. It gave me shivers and commanded my attention. I was inspired to stop what I was doing and go see her. similar to how it is right now. I was with my soldiers at the practice field on the fringes of the woods. I was supervising their training and making notes about what they should focus on and enhance. I then lost concentration after smelling her. All attention was now focused on her. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see her coming out of the woods. She didn't look up at me like she usually does and continued walking. My wolf moaned, desiring to approach our mate and for her to see us. Tarra glanced at me, and he gave me an understanding nod. I gave him a shoulder pat before pursuing my partner.
Just a little bit faster than she was, I was closing the gap thanks to my longer strides. Two hands with long, claw-like nails encircled my arm and stopped me as I was going to shout out to her. Rachel placed her chest on mine and rubbed herself on me, putting her aroma on me. Her perfume was so sickeningly sweet that it masked Jennifer's lovely aroma. I turned to look in the general direction Jennifer had taken off, but Rachel had other plans. She dragged me down by digging her claws into my shoulders, causing me to bend over her. Before she could try anything else, I moved her hands away from me and took a few steps back as my face almost touched her boobs. She was dressed in a see-through white tank top and skin-tight, extremely short denim shorts. Her pink lace bra, which I could see, was pushing her breasts all the way up to her chin. It gave me the flu. Hey there, sweetheart. My chest was scraped by her nails as she purred. I barked and backed away.
"Rachel, what do you want?" She pouted, making herself resemble a horse or perhaps a chicken as she gazed up at me. "I was curious as to why you were lying to me!" She cried out.
I'm your partner! You shouldn't be observing other women! She sobbed and hugged me. I softly moved her away from me and then kept her there.
"I'll say it again: I'm not your mate. A few days ago, I discovered my mate, and tomorrow, she will become a member of our pack.
Is that filthy rouge your partner? She enquired in an abhorrent manner. She hung her head in submission as I roared.
You won't refer to my partner or your future Luna in such a way, she said. She gave me a smiling up-close gaze.
Sweetheart, good-bye. She moved on. I sighed with relief as I started to search for my friend. She was not to be found.
Jen's perspective
Everyone has avoided me like the plague ever since I decided to join the pack. I can't deny that I'm a little pleased. I approved of them all keeping their distance from one another. However, everyone—even complete strangers—behaved differently now. They were staring at me, and when I looked them in the eye, they swiftly averted their attention. As I passed, some people would whisper to one another. I felt awful about everything.
I could feel Damian's eyes on me as I emerged from the woods. My back tingled as a result of his sea green eyes. When I heard him begin to pursue me, I worried and made an effort to move more quickly. He was closing in on me, but I'm glad they stopped him so I could keep going. I halted and took a seat beneath a cedar tree. I was reminded of him and the fact that I would be joining his group the next day by the smell. My heart started to race, and I found it impossible to breathe.
My home was taken away by four unknown men. After being knocked out, I awoke in a strange room. They dragged me by the ear and made me move. They carried me deeper into the trees while tightening the squeeze on my ear. They placed a silver collar around my neck once we arrived at a large oak tree. I tried to scream in protest as it scorched my skin, but they just tightened the collar until I could hardly breathe. I tore deeper into the meaty limb by biting onto one of their legs and shaking my head. The man screamed in agony, and I could taste blood in my mouth. One of the other guys surrounded me and kicked me in the ribs. He struck one of the ribs my father had just shattered again, and I yelped. My hold on the man's foot slipped, and I took a kick to the nose. One of them threw me into the tree they had chained me to, knocking me over in the process. As the bones on my right side of the body creaked and snapped, I whimpered in agony. They all then began to attack me at once. They punched, kicked, and prodded at my fractured bones. I hissed and made an effort to fight, but it was ineffective. They had stronger bodies than mine, and I was outnumbered. After discovering they weren't with me, I sagged to the ground. They laughed while spitting on my disfigured physique.
Bitch, welcome to your new pack. I sobbed. Because sobbing made you weak and Alphas aren't supposed to be weak, I loathed crying. But I couldn't help myself. I sat there for a while, but I eventually restrained my tears. My eyes were red and puffy, and I knew it.
"Oh, look at this." Blonde Cindy fake pouted while cooing. Is the reason the Whittle Rogue is crying because the Alpha treats me better? She enquired in a babbling tone. She drew nearer to me and pointed a finger with claws in my direction. I told you he belonged to me. She grinned. "You will be charged." She walked away while flipping her phony blonde hair over her shoulder. I spent the entire next day by myself in my room after locking the door. I was unable to sleep and I didn't eat. I hung on.
Salman was the one who came and got me from my room. She was only sporting a t-shirt and trousers; nothing extravagant. That was advantageous because I wouldn't be sporting some ridiculous dress.
Are you ready? I gave her a nod and left after her. She directed me to a vacant field. I was the subject of hundreds of stares as I approached Alpha Damian.
POV of Damian
As Jennifer took a position next to me, I grinned at her. She was dressed in my black hoodie and black joggers. She looked adorable, and the fact that it was huge on her made me smile.
I breathed out clearly.
"I know you folks are wondering who my partner is and that I've found him or her," he said. I pointed to my small friend.
"Hello. I'm Jennifer. She is both your future Luna and my partner. A pin may have fallen in the silence that prevailed. They then began to applaud. They sat down when I grinned broadly and raised my hands in the air. Before she joined us, I wanted to introduce her to the pack. Who wants to dispute her and her position within this pack? Anyone who wanted to try was nearly threatened by his question.
The blonde Cindy then made her way out of the mob.
I, Rachel Smith, am vying for her position in this pack. She murmured while staring fixedly into my eyes.
I accept the challenge, please.
