Noticing that she wasn't following him, Veron halted and turned around. She did not even make any move to stand up from the chair. Instead, she was looking at him as if she just heard the most unbelievable thing in the whole world.
He couldn't blame her though. He would have done this the simpler and gentler way, but their situation right now requires no such method. After thinking about this for the. most part of last night, this was the best method he came up with.
"Get up, Arin." He instructed with a firm voice.
