Later that evening, Celeste made her way to the balcony. Salma had earlier returned to Blue Lake, where she would stay briefly before going to see Edith and Alicard. Veron, on the other hand, was not back from attending to the numerous piled-up work he left hanging for days. So she was left to herself, which gave her time to ponder about everything that had happened.
Earlier, after finding out about the potential mistress and the identity of the said initiator of the idea, Veron had assured her, speaking through her mind, that she didn't have to worry herself about them.
He assured her that Jadon would take care of the issue, and when she turned to look at Jadon, he nodded to her as if he had access to their private discussion. Maybe he did. She had no idea how these things work.
But the assurance helped her relax and drop the issue without any drama, much to Gideon's disappointment.
