For the first time in nineteen years, Salma felt truly alive. All these while, she knew that something was missing in her life, even before getting to know the real identities of the ones she called parents. However, since she couldn't point out exactly what it was, she only dismissed it as something normal every person felt once in a while.
But now she felt whole, complete, as her nature-given powers and abilities flowed back to her, settling down and taking their rightful place.
Once she felt the transfer was complete, she lifted her head, and with her eyes still closed, she drew in a deep breath, and released it slowly. She repeated the same action three times, and flexed her fingers, before finally cracking her eyes open.
Cozan was standing right before her when she opened her eyes, the sides of his lips slightly stretched.
"Welcome back once again." He uttered.
