All eyes moved in Edgar's direction as soon as he made that statement. Elder Musty for one wasn't expecting such opposition from him.
"What are you saying, Edgar?"
"Exactly what you heard. I see no sense in cooperating or collaborating with the very people who scattered us and reduced us to nothing. For over a hundred years, we've been homeless, moving from one place to another like refugees when we own the biggest land in this part of the world. All these are because of the werewolves. So I agree with Celeste and I support her anger. Someone has to pay for everything we've gone through." Edgar gave the reason behind his decision.
"We all agree. Someone has to pay. But we should be directing our anger toward the real culprits and not fellow victims like us." Elder Musty uttered.
"They betrayed us," Edgar argued.
