"Don't look at me like that." Salma pleaded, seeing the way Celeste was staring at her with furrowed brows.
After Gideon left, she had stood there looking at the fence for a while, only to turn around and find Celeste standing by the door, her arms folded beneath her chest.
"What's going on with you two?" Celeste queried when Salma walked up to her and stood beside her.
"Nothing is going on," Salma answered, but Celeste's frown deepened.
"Nothing? Really? You just said you two were kissing a while ago and now it's nothing?" Celeste spoke in a manner that portrayed she wasn't pleased with Salma's answer or with the whole drama that just happened.
Salma bit her lower lip and shut her eyes for a moment. "Yes, we kissed, but apart from that, there is nothing else. I don't know why Cozan blew up like that." She responded when she opened her eyes again.
