By the time Salma opened her eyes again, she was back in her room and on her bed in Blue Lake. The curtains were still drawn, but from the slightly opened edges, small rays of light filtered into the room.
She pushed herself up from the bed and stared blankly at the wall. Her thoughts were jumbled up and she was having a problem recalling the events of the previous day.
While strolling to the bathroom for her morning business, she caught a whiff of something cooking and heard the faint sounds of kitchen utensils being used.
Her lips stretched into a small smile. Cozan was at it again and thankfully, she was very hungry.
With a little more enthusiasm, she finished up her morning business, and stared at herself in the mirror for two seconds, before turning around to exit the bathroom.
When she reached the door, she paused, knitted her brows, and turned to face the mirror once again, this time, her eyes settled on the shirt she had on.
