Nori's eyes slowly cracked open when the car slowed down and eventually pulled to a stop. Only then did she realize that the seat had been slightly reclined to give her extra comfort.
"Feel better?" Gideon probed while she pushed herself into an upright position.
"Where is this?" She asked, ignoring his question as she looked around. The sun was high up in the sky, and right before her eyes was a forest. Tall plants, grasses, bamboo trees, and other trees, so green and beautiful, she would love to spend a lot of time there.
"This is the entrance to the blue lake," Gideon answered her question, turning off the car and stepping out.
"Huh? I thought it was an actual lake." Nori also climbed out of the car and shut the door. When Cozan had mentioned the blue lake, she instantly pictured they would be coming to an actual water body, not a beautiful bright green forest.
