"Did you forget something?" Karina asked when she heard the door opening again. It was not up to two minutes since Nori left the room so hearing the door open again only meant she had forgotten something.
She became confused when she got no response.
"Nori?" Karina called again, a little louder, with the thought that Nori may not have heard her the first time. Still, she heard nothing.
She was sure she heard the door open and close. Why was Nori ignoring her?
Lifting her head from the pillow and turning around to find out why she was being ignored, her gaze first landed on the door where she found Veron instead of Nori.
He was leaning on the door, arms crossed over his chest and eyes fixed on her.
A few minutes earlier, he sat with the others in the dining room, waiting for the two girls to show up and hoping Karina shows up this time.
