"Did you sleep at all?" Nori's voice pulled Karina back to the present, snapping her out of her thoughts.
It was already morning and Nori woke up to find Karina's eyes open, staring at the ceiling.
Karina blinked, then turned her head to look at Nori. "I did. A little." She responded to Nori's question. The latter, however, knitted her brows when she set her eyes on her face.
"Are you okay? You look pale. Do you feel sick?" Nori pushed herself to a sitting position, resting her concerned gaze on Karina's face.
She didn't expect her sister to be all bubbly and forget everything that happened just like that. But at the moment, Karina looked worse than she imagined.
Her skin was extremely pale, and her eyes were red and swollen.
"Don't look at me like that. I'm fine. I just have a lot on my mind." Karina looked away from Nori, returning her attention to the ceiling. "I've been thinking..." She started saying before a knock interrupted her.
