Ye Xian sighed, glad that the school had taken a vacation time off—or rather shut down due to an explosion in the lab hidden under the school. Especially now, when he couldn't get out of bed, caused to bed rest by his (adopted) father, Armand.
"You've been having a fever since this morning." Armand spoke, "You can't blame me for worrying."
Ye Xian nearly wanted to sneer, 'I'm over ten thousand years old, your a cunning little bastard in my eyes.' But didn't have the heart or the wanting effect in speaking as they did, to begin with.
Ye Xian's phone rang, it was face time, "Ye Lao Sha, Jun got your number, how has your vacation been?"
"It's been fine." Ye Xian spoke, "If you are on the Isles of Blessing, be careful of the rampaging goats, they tend to eat the man-eating hell unicorns this time of year."
"Ye Lao Sha, I wished you had told me this beforehand! Now we have to run!" Chen Shen shouted.
Armand entered the room, "Take your medicine."
"Lao Ba, my students—fine." Ye Xian grumbled.
Ye Xian popped the medicine in his mouth and sipped some tea, "So bitter."
"Ye Lao Sha!" They shouted.
"Ah, also make sure none of you smell like cream or spoken ill of your mother for the last twenty-five hours and you'll be fine. They are respectful of their mother goats." Ye Xian explained, "Also didn't we cover this last week on the field trip to the seventh and half district and tamed electric sheep and tramping baby goats?"
Armand snorted, "Don't stay too long on the phone, you're still sick."
"Ah, Lao Ba, stop treating me like I'm a child." Ye Xian remarked, "It's so annoying."
Ye Xian chuckled, "Once you cross into the minor fields, it's a safe zone, none can hurt you there. Some of the baby bunnies will even become an army to protect their area there, they adore children the most. I'm going to have to hang up now, Lao Ba being annoying again."
Ye Xian hung up. Placing his phone on the nightstand, "Lao Ba, what are you doing?"
"It's hard to believe that I've adopted you only ten years ago, you haven't aged a bit." Armand spoke, "Neither have I, apparently."
