~Flashback to the previous 5 years~
"Arrgghhh… It hurts so much."
"I can not stand it anymore. It's so painful!"
A woman with jet black hair, groaning in pain on the hospital bed. The beautiful woman with hazel-colored eyes had been holding her belly which was enlarged due to her pregnancy which had entered the beginning of the third trimester.
The special conditions of her pregnancy, made her have to give birth prematurely, at the 7 months of pregnancy.
"Doctor, how is she you?" A man approached the doctor with his frustrated face.
"Mr. Elvano Caldwell, I have said from the beginning, Mrs. Anna's pregnancy has a high risk for her life-"
The man with a firm jawline immediately stiffened. His thick black eyebrows furrowed slightly accompanied by sharp eyes, like an eagle ready to peck its prey. He interrupted the doctor's words, "Doctor, I don't want to hear such ambiguous words! I don't want to know how the process goes, you have to save my wife!"
"But this-"
Again and again, the man interrupted his words, "Just do it, my wife must be safe. If anything happens to her, I won't forgive you! You are a doctor, it is your duty to save the patients!"
After saying that, the man left the doctor who was still frozen with his threat. He walked into the ward which had been filled with a woman's moans of pain.
His sharp eyes caught the sight of a woman who was still beautiful, though with a pale face and a clear expression of pain on her face. Seeing the pain of the woman who was none other than his wife, made his tears fall down unwillingly, rolling down his cheeks. His heart broke!
The woman in pain smiled at him. The smile was so sincere, as if she was not afraid of anything even though the pain she was endure was beyond help.
"Are you still mad at me?" she asked softly.
Elvano Caldwell stood still. It was as if he didn't care and was mad. He curtly said, "Then how do you expect me to behave? Should I support someone who has plotted her own death?"
Hearing the man's answer, the woman's heart seemed to be thrown into a deep valley. She felt the pain increase ten times.
"It's okay if you get angry, but being a mother is my dream. The thing I've wanted the most since I made my vows to you. I just wanted to get my dream, but you got angry instead." The woman named Anna shed tears.
"Anna, but you know your current state doesn't allow you to conceive and give birth! You should-"
Anna answered painfully, "I know I am a weak woman, sickly and helpless, but I just want to fulfill my duty, which is to give you a child. We've been waiting a long time to get our baby. It's been five years, and once given the chance should I kill him? I... I can't bear to throw away my own son, El. Hiks... hiks... hiks..." She sobbed. Her body condition was indeed weak, she was in a lot of pain especially after being pregnant, the pain she experienced was many times over, but what hurt the most was her heart!
The husband who she loved the most was opposed to her pregnancy, even the man was angry when she decided to keep her child and didn't care about him. Anna knew it was all because her husband was so worried about her health, but… couldn't this man trust her that everything would be fine? She would have tried to save her own child and life, but why wasn't she getting any support? Was in everyone's eyes, she was that weak?

Anna kept sobbing. She shed all the tears she had been holding back. She didn't care anymore. She had made this decision from the start that she had to become a mother of her own biological child!
He was still not satisfied with her wife's excuses! Child? Who didn't want it?
"So what if you've been waiting so long? We've waited for five years, I still don't mind if we have to wait a little longer, two more years, five years, or even ten years, it doesn't matter! Anna, you should know, I didn't marry you to give me a child! You clearly know how risky this pregnancy is to your safety? Why are you still holding on to it? Even you are still hiding it from me!" Elvano Daverson clenched his fists. He was mad, disappointed, hurt, and scared.
"But I can't wait that long. Becoming a mother is my decision, El! I want to be like other women, who have experienced how it feels to get pregnant, give birth to our baby. Don't you even respect my decision? Don't you believe me? Why are you scolding me so cruelly?" She continued to sob under the pressure of the pain that shook her body.
Seeing his wife crying so pitifully, Elvano couldn't keep his heart hardened, he held her hand tightly.
"I can't be mad at you, I can't do it. I'm just mad at myself because until now, I haven't been able to find a way to protect you. I'm just scared…" The handsome man couldn't continue his words.
"Elvano, all I need is your support. As long as you trust me, everything will be fine," the girl replied.
Elvano Caldwell hugged his wife warmly, "Anna, all I need is you, only you! Promise me you'll be fine, okay? I won't be able to live well without you by my side." The tears were no longer held back, the crystal grains flowed smoothly, showing the concern in his heart.
The doctor came, interrupting the conversation of the husband and wife who were in pain.
"Mr. and Mrs. Caldwell, it's time for surgery. Mrs. Caldwell must be transferred to the operating room immediately."
With a heavy heart, Elvano let go of his embrace from his wife. He looked at the face of the woman he loved so much, "I will wait for you, fight, so that we can raise this child together." He kissed his wife's forehead for a moment. After that, for the first time, he gently stroked his wife's belly. He also left a warm kiss there.
