I looked towards him and saw Ian there too. Ian nodded at him and came to me.
Ian " I heard that you took care of bandits."
Usman" So?"
Ian" Lady Ubik had ordered to award you."
Usman ' A favour?'

He looked at me shocked. Then...
Ian" Then, come at the Ubik House tomorrow for dinner."

I sighed.

I went to a vacant table and sat. Soon, my dinner came and I ate it. After that I went to my room and sealed it. Then, I laid down and slept.
Next day
When I was going out after my breakfast...
Falcon " It's good to be cautious but connections could be useful too. Think about it."
I went out without giving any answer. I moved around for a few hours. The villagers were more welcoming now? Looked like they were informed about yesterday. Then, I returned to tavern and rested.
In evening
I went to the Ubik House, which I saw during my walk during the day.

Usman ' Here, we goes.'
When I got in the vicinity of the house. I checked the perimeter with my Hawkeyes. Two cultists were posing as guards near the fence and two were near the door. In two consecutive shots, I took them down. I saw a strange necklace around their necks, I took one. I went near the door, opened it slowly.
There were three people in strange clothes guarding a door behind them. Each of them had daggers. I moved back and bursted into the house. I shot my knitted arrows and they fell with a thud.
???"WHAT WAS THAT?!!"
Realising that they were awared of something strange happening. I bursted into the room and saw an injured Ian captured by a cultists. One was moving with a dagger towards an elder woman and one has tied a platinum blonde woman.
I headshot three of them. Then, I shot two arrows in the the traitor named Rafile. He was dressed in black coat, white shirt and black pants with brown shoes.
Rafile " HOW YOU GOT IN HERE?!! WHERE'S EVERYONE?!!"
Usman" Why you are asking, when you already know the answer."
His eyes widened. I moved closer to him.
Usman " Now, start talking."
Rafile " You are dreaming if you think a dog for hire like you could make me talk."
He was determined. So, I took out my scroll from my minibag. I opened it and turned it to his horrified face.
Rafile " Y... you... won't..."
Usman " Charm person!"

Usman " Now, talk my friend. When you started planning this?"
Rafile" I started it with the return of hag with that whore. In the beginning, I tried to use bandits for this but you, my friend interfered."

Rafile" I know but I was angry. So, I plotted this attack with my brothers. I was going to kill that hag, her gigolo and was going to take the whore with us for a great ritual."
Usman" Making me the prime suspect." I said furrowing my eyebrows.

I knocked him out by hiting his head with hilt of my sword. I cut the ropes of everyone and moved to the door to went to the tavern.
Ian" How did you know that guards were fake?"
???" And if you knew, why you came to save us?" Said the elder lady.
I turned towards them.
Usman " Listen! First, those guards had these."
I showed them a strange necklace.
???" T... that's..the demon worshippers' mark!" Said the platinum blonde woman who was tied.
Usman " Second, it was obvious that I was going to be the prime suspect like he said. So, I was just saving myself by saving you."
Usman ' Please! Believe all this shit!'
Lady Ubik " Alright, you are correct."
Usman " Then, I am going to tavern. Because a dinner not going to happen now. "
Lady Ubik" Obviously! But I will like it if you will come tomorrow for a dinner. Consider, it my thanks."

I went out of the house and started moving towards the tavern.

I stopped in my tracks and smiled with excitement.

Then, I went to the tavern and entered it. I sat on a chair and ordered a waitress for my meal. But the person who brought my meal was Falcon.
Falcon " You are here too early and you ordered the dinner. I didn't know Noble's food was lower than mine."
Usman" Just ask the captain."
He tilted towards me.
Falcon" What happened?" He said seriously looking towards my quiver.
Usman " Your noble was under attack by an insider. So, how could there be a dinner."
He looked at me with widened eyes.

Usman " I didn't ask his name, besides captain is injured. Why don't you ask him?"

He realised his mistake and stood up. He went to a waitress and said something. Then, he went out.

I ate my meal, went to my room. Sealed the door and projected the arrows, then slept.
