Ring! Ring! Ring!
"Ayla Cantika Putri! How long are you going to sleep like this! It's six o'clock, hurry up and get ready! If not, you'll stay here!"
The scream managed to make Ayla immediately rise from her sleep. He took a sitting position, rubbed his eyes visibly and scratched his hair that looked perfectly disheveled.
So, is all this a dream?
Everything Ayla experienced was a dream, right?
"Brother, this is a dream, right?" asked Ayla stupidly, making the tall man wearing a brown T-shirt look at Ayla perfectly.
Daren Wicaksoni—Ayla's only older brother turned his head, the man who is three years older than Ayla will never understand all the things that happened to his sister. Sometimes, Daren thinks that Ayla is his little sister which is quite… strange.
"What have you been up to?" Daren asked probingly. "What did you dream about?" he joked again, Daren's eyes immediately bulged, Ayla also shrank with her brother's gaze.
"No dream, brother! Just a bad dream!" avoid Ayla.
Heaving a sigh of relief, Ayla smiled too. She was really grateful that what happened was just a bad dream, and Ayla didn't have to be afraid anymore to go to school this morning. Especially after the MOS event ended.
"Well, take a shower over there! Brother already made you fried rice!"
"Why fried rice again?" Ayla protested. During the week her father was out of town, her brother always made a menu of fried rice every day for three meals for Ayla, a menu that really made Ayla afraid to eat fried rice after this.
"What do you want me to make, to eat?" annoyed Daren, Ayla just smiled stiffly too. "Brother is afraid to go to campus, so you, Brother, leave your new friend,"
"Huh, what?" asked Ayla, who now took a towel to go to the bathroom, but stopped because of what her brother said. "What package do I have? Play is left to everyone. I don't want it, bro!"
"Must want, Brother already called him!"
"Why do you charge! I don't want to, I don't know!"
"I can meet you later, it's really troublesome!"
"Brother, I don't want to!" shouted Ayla, but Daren did not pay attention to his sister's words.
"He'll be here in half an hour, don't make him wait too long. Watch out if you are resentful!" Darren threatened.
Ayla could only hold her breath, seeing her brother closing the door to his room from the outside. Really, Ayla didn't think that her brother would be this cruel to her.
New friends? Who? Ayla didn't know at all, Ayla didn't know him at all, and what is certain is that her father always told Ayla never to go with someone she didn't know at all. So how can her brother entrust herself to people in a careless way like this? Ayla really had no idea!
Ayla had finished preparing, she let her waist-length straight black hair loosely, and smelled good. While looking at the mirror in front of her, Ayla is now looking at one of the photos that has been pasted neatly on the end of the mirror a few months ago. Sometimes, when her brother came in, the photo was covered with paper, or whatever, at least so her brother wouldn't know. It's nothing, Ayla is just lazy with her brother, because Ayla knows that her brother is a person who likes to make fun of things.
"I went to school first, Devano. I'll see you at school, okay?" mumbled Ayla. Kissed the photo then rushed out of the room.
Yes, Devano Adam Kalendra. Who does not know this handsome and cool figure? Because of his good looks, Devano managed to anesthetize the whole school into worshiping him. Even with Ayla, even though Ayla knows that Devano is her senior at school, Ayla has made up her mind to be a part of Devano's hard-line fans, and an eternal fan. That's what Ayla did, even though she did so many stupid things. Like buying used paper for Devano's sitting, taking photos of the bench where Devano hangs out and so on. Until Ayla's savings almost ran out just because of her love for Devano. Ayla only faces that if one day her feelings are truly reciprocated, she only hopes that what Devano feels in her heart also feels it.
Ayla smiled again, the sheets of letters she had written almost every night to Devano were still neatly stored. The letters should have reached Devano's hands, but Ayla was too cowardly to give them directly. So, all Ayla could do was put the letter in the drawer, and hold on to her own hopes. Yes, that's what Ayla has been doing all this time.
"Hey! Why do you keep daydreaming!" Daren's fist, Ayla immediately groaned in pain, she stroked the top of her head perfectly.
Immediately Ayla straightened her straight hair again, not to tangle, and not to smell Daren's cigarette. Because if she accidentally crosses paths with Devano, Ayla doesn't want to be considered a dirty girl.
"Brother, what's wrong? What's the matter with me!" annoyed Ayla.
Daren sighed in exasperation as well. He crossed his arms, looking at the only sister he had.
"Wait, you're going to school right?" Darren asked. Ayla nodded; her brow furrowed perfectly.
"Yeah, already wearing this uniform! Where else are you going? To the market?" snorted Ayla.
"Your make-up looks like your aunts are about to hang out! Remove that lipstick of yours!" angry Darren. Ayla immediately screamed, apparently her brother knew that she was wearing lipstick. Even though the lipstick she was using was very thin.
"This isn't lipstick, bro! It's lip gloss!" avoid Ayla.
"Don't you delete it?"
"This ..." Ayla's words stopped when Daren had clenched his hands and wiped the lipstick that was on her lips perfectly. "Brother!"
"What is this! Lipstick! This red!" Daren was angry, showing the tissue used to wipe Ayla's red lips.
"Is today's lip gloss like that, Brother!"
"Mascara, remove that mascara! Hurry up and wash your face! What the hell! Going to school is like going to hang out!"
