Evelyn continued to change sides on the bed but she couldn't fall asleep.
In the end, she huffed and sat up on the bed. It was around midnight but she was unable to fall asleep.
In the end, she stepped outside her room and was surprised to see Isla leaning against the wall beside the room.
Isla also stood up seeing her stepping out of the room and asked in a concern-filled voice.
"My Lady, are you alright? Do you need anything?"
"No…but what are you doing here?"
"I am protecting My Lady."
Isla said with a solemn expression on her face.
Evelyn frowned in confusion when she heard this.
"But you didn't use to do this before?"
She remembered very well she had never seen Isla like this ...standing outside her room even at night.
"That was because My Lady was with His Highness. I was assured that with His Highness's presence, My Lady could never be harmed."
Isla didn't tell Evelyn that it was Regan only who had instructed her to do so while Regan never told Isla why he said so.
