By the evening, the castle had started to sell the grains at a price that was less than what those traders in the market were selling.
As he watched the man crying in joy while buying the grains, Regan felt that he could finally breathe.
He turned to look inside his chambers and his eyes fell on his slave.
"Evelyn…come here."
Though Evelyn was confused, she did as she was asked.
"Does Your Highness need something?"
Evelyn bowed her head and asked politely but Regan clicked his tongue in impatience. He held her hand …making Evelyn remind how he had done the same when they were down in the morning.
It took her a lot of effort now as well as in the morning to not throw it away.
He doesn't have any bad intentions. She would assure her heart which was beating loudly against her chest. But the reason behind this was solely her fear and nothing else.
Evelyn sighed in relief when he finally released her hand and raised her head when she heard her master say
"Look!"
