"Please be merciful." The driver cried out, begging on his knees.
He couldn't believe it. The same went for others. Even death row criminals in the prison weren't punished in this way. Especially, in the current era.
"Humph! I don't need a spineless and untrustworthy subordinate like you." Cayden scoffed emotionlessly before leaving behind the devastated driver.
"Boss Mike, I'm sorry. Please speak for me." The driver crawled and grabbed his feet, pleadingly.
Seeing this miserable sight, Mike sighed, looking towards Bryan, expecting that he could persuade the Lord since nobody deserved such a death.
However, Bryan shook his head. Just because he was close to the Lord, didn't mean that he could be audacious enough to talk back to him.
Knowing his position, he declared, "Do as the Lord said. At least give him a proper burial thereafter."
"No! We were friends! How could you?" The driver madly shouted.
"Take him away." Bryan didn't bother wasting any time here as he was about to tear up. It was cruel.
"Yes." The gangsters nodded, taking a deep breath.
Realizing that it was useless whatever he did, the driver could only curse at them, heart-wrenchingly.
"Haha! Do you think that you are all safe for now? Today's incident will spread all over the city in a couple of days. You will be the target of public criticism. The military will never let you go."
"As for that demon, he will die a horrible death. The heavens…"
Bang!
He didn't even get the chance to finish his sentence as Mike punched him in his face, dragging him away.
"Remember nobody is to speak about today's matter. Or else don't blame me." Mike threatened everybody, sending chills down their spines.

Meanwhile, in the headquarters of the Bright Moon Guild, G-city.
Lustrous trees and artificial rivers surrounded a beautiful white villa. Inside, a bearded man was unconsciously lying on a bed in a large room. Indeed, he was Igor.
Next to him, two old doctors were checking his pulse while frowning frequently. There were making weird hand signs and mana would flow through them, creating a warm healing effect.
They were one of the few B-rank healers in G-city.
Some distance from them, two attractive women, one young while the other mature one was standing upright wearing police clothes and a long home gown respectively. They were officer Ellie and Guild Master Sophia, also the wife of Igor.
"Doctors, how is it?" Sophia questioned with concern.
"His heartbeat, blood circulation, and respiration are all normal. There aren't any signs of injuries both externally and internally."
"He should be fine. Maybe he will wake up soon."
The doctors couldn't find anything unusual with him.
"I hope so." She muttered with quite a relief in her tone.
Next, her aura became extremely cold as snowflakes began appearing in the room.
"How did this happen?" It had been a long time since she had been this furious.
Ellie shrank back and explained everything while trying to keep her warm using her mana.
Clatter!
"How can a new S-rank warrior appear here?" Sophia smashed the bedroom mirror in rage, scaring everyone.
"Are you sure about it?" Didn't this mean that she had no way of taking her revenge? Wasn't she going to lose her reputation once the public and her competitor guilds get the hang of it?
"How can I be mistaken?" Remembering the might of Cayden, Ellie still had a lingering fear.
"Anyways, you don't have to stress too much. I have reported this matter to my superiors, and they are already on their way. You should know the significance of an S-rank warrior." She added.
"I see." Sophia didn't say much. But deep down she was vexed. She knew what Ellie was implying.
She wanted her to restrain herself and not create trouble with the Skull Gang for the time being. Moreover, the new Gang Leader might not get taught a lesson. Instead, he might be taken into the military.
"I hate it." She cursed inwardly.
When they were discussing, one of the doctors abruptly exclaimed.
"Guild Master, he is waking up."
"What?" Sophia returned to her senses and rushed to his bed immediately.
She saw his body flinching and his eyes slowly opening.
"Igor! Are you ok?"
In response, he murmured in a baby-like voice. "Mama, milk."
"You…"

Inside his living quarters, Cayden was sitting on a sofa, drinking a cup of coffee. In front of him, Bryan was standing with hesitation written all over his face.
"Why are you here?" He asked calmly.
"I wanted to know how we deal with the remaining members of the Ape Gang and the Poisonous Viper Gang next. It's likely that some of them would make a visit here once they realize their gang leaders are missing." Bryan put down his worries.
"Humm! What do you suggest?" Cayden questioned back, not caring much about it.
Bryan thought for a while before describing in an awe-spiring manner.
"I want to increase our sphere of influence. First, we will capture them all and thoroughly interrogate them. Then we will attack their hideouts one by one, taking control of them sneakily. In this way, we can slowly take over those gangs without alerting anyone."
"Oh! You do have some ambition. It's not small as well." The way Cayden judged him changed.
"Previously I assumed that you were timid, someone who could take in everything and was easy to bully. Looks like I was wrong." He added.
Listening to him, Bryan's mouth twitched. How could he say you are just too strong for me to retaliate? Even taking revenge for Uncle Adam had been thrown out of his mind.
Thus, he simply replied, "I was always determined."
"Haha!" Cayden chuckled evilly, guessing some of his thoughts.
"Forget it. I will help you with this one. Bring me two big sheets of paper and a painting brush." He declared.
"Yes." Despite not understanding what the Lord could do with it, he hurried away and brought them in the blink of an eye.
"The materials are rough. They can barely withstand a tiny fraction of my power. Yet, it should be enough." Shaking his head, he channeled a portion of his spiritual energy into the brush.
Afterward, he bit his tongue, dripping drops of golden blood on the top of the papers which magically floated in the air.
He then began scribing mysterious symbols containing tremendous power in the papers, forcing Bryan to kneel down on the spot while sweating.
Only after five minutes, did he put down the brush.
Bang!
The brush exploded at once due to the afterburn while Cayden rolled the papers, passing them to Bryan.
"Give one to Mike, and you can head straight to their headquarters at the same time. Report them of their gang leader's death. Next, ask them to surrender. If they do not, open it right away. I trust they will make the right decision." Cayden explained indifferently.
"My Lord, if we do this then there is no coming back. We will completely make the guilds and the militaries our enemies." Bryan reminded him in shock. Although he was confident in the Lord's abilities, it was better to be careful.
After all, he had heard that S-rank warriors possessed the ability to destroy a whole city. Besides, the Lord was as crazy as ever. He never put anything in his eyes.
"Humph! It doesn't matter. You can leave now. Make sure you finish the task by tomorrow morning. You have to show me around the commerce center." Cayden waved his hand, indicating for him to withdraw.
"Please wait." Bryan stopped him and asked the question bugging him for a while.
"I don't know whether I should ask you this question. But I am curious why you let the female police officer go when you have not let a single one of your offenders alive?"
"Eh! That's it?" Cayden smiled. "There's no specific reason. It would have been lame if nobody were to have witnessed my powers."
Without waiting for him to speak further, he instantly swept his hand ahead, blowing Bryan out of the house.
"Spark of divinity"
Alone in the room, after making sure nobody was in the vicinity, he took it out in his right hand.
"It's showing signs of recovery. It seems like my today's troubles weren't ought for nothing. I have to spread more terror to bolster my faith."

Later that day, when the sun finally set down, several jeeps left the Skull Gang swiftly, disappearing from the horizon in a couple of seconds. Half of them reached a strange alley where old red-bricked houses could be seen everywhere.
Hideous men wearing green clothes could be seen patrolling around, showcasing that they belonged to the Poisonous Viper Gang.
"Skull Gang! Stop! You dare to step foot here?"
How could they not recognize the infamous vehicles of the Skull Gang? Therefore, they lashed out without any hesitation.
Beep!
The jeeps stopped one after another, lining up, crowding the alley.
The door of the front jeep opened and confident Bryan wearing a black suit appeared in everyone's vision.
"Bastards from the Poisonous Viper Gang! Kneel down and accept your fates! Your Gang Leader has fallen! Now submit to us or die!" His ruthless voice echoed, dumbing the fuck out of everyone.
