Some subordinates got their hearts softened, wanting to hold her in their arms and console her already.
Seeing this, the officer became furious. "How dare you manipulate them with your charm?"
A cold aura diffused from him, counteracting the invisible threads of mana she was emitting.
"Eh! What happened?" The subordinates returned to their senses, looking around warily.
"Fools." Instead, they were berated by their officer.
He then stared at her icily and asked, "Are you forcing my hand?"
"How can it be? We gang leaders have no choice but to back down if you guys intervene." Isla shook her head.
