The G-city Airport.
A group of strong warriors wearing police clothes were standing near the exit, waiting for someone with solemn expressions on their faces.
The people nearby would glance at them with awe and respect, bowing to them occasionally. Everyone knew the significance of them in this era.
Without them, the world would have already turned into ruins. They were the symbol of strength and order. Indeed, they were the higher-ranked officials from the Military.
However, they didn't pay any attention to these people as they were used to it. Anyways, they had an important task on hand. They were here to receive two of the few pillars of humanity.
"How long?"
"Soon."
"Wouldn't it be a problem if they come out openly? S-ranked warriors are extremely popular. The crowd would definitely flock around them."
"They must realize this as well. Perhaps, they have some ways."
When they were chatting with each other, abruptly their phones rang out at the same time, causing them to have a bad premonition.
"Eh! It's from the head office. What the hell happened?" Frowning, they picked up their calls and their faces immediately became ugly. They couldn't believe what they heard.
"Damn! How dare he?"
"He took over the commercial center of the G-city!"
"The President is suspected to have been killed."
"The Skull Gang is transporting all the materials in large batches."
"The Guilds are questioning us. They are adjourning a meeting."
"This is a huge loss."
"How could he blatantly plunder us in the daylight? Does he not put us in his eyes?"
"He's an arrogant criminal."
"Besides, the news reporters are already arriving on the scene."
"It would be a disaster if the news leaked out."
"We would completely lose our face."
"The previous incident would furthermore add more fuel to the fire."
"What do we do?"
They asked themselves frustratingly. Who could have imagined that the bastard would create another bigger incident the next day? Why couldn't he catch a break?
"Why are you all so stressed?" A flat voice sounded in their ears, bringing them back to their senses.
Looking in that direction, they saw two disguised men in rough leather jackets approaching them from an escalator.
They had masks covering their mouths with black sunglasses covering their eyes, making it impossible for the public to recognize them. They had an aloof aura surrounding them, causing people to back away in trepidation.
"Sir Richard! Sir Luther"
The officials recognized them instantly. Yet, they didn't call them out loudly. They led them into their vehicle before finally pouring their worries.
"Humm, I see." Richard nodded, taking off his sunglasses, and throwing it out of the moving vehicle.
Despite his cool expression, one could notice how angry he was. Lightning was flashing in his eyes while his short hair stood up, attracting the charges in the air, discharging electricity.
"Calm down." Luther patted his shoulder.
"He's way too courageous. As Ellie said, he must definitely be an S-ranked warrior. If not, he wouldn't have the guts to mess with us." He analyzed the situation and then came up with a solution.
"First, seal the news totally. Don't let those flies post anything anywhere. Even the newspapers. We must contain this matter at any cost. As for the materials, we have to grasp them away without damaging them. After all, the whole city's economy depends on them since they are worth billions."
"However, it's not easy. If we force him, then we might not get anything in return. You should understand how destructive an S-ranked warrior is. Especially, when he can fly, it makes it even trickier to deal with him." He added sternly.
"Therefore, it's best to have a conversation with him and secure the materials safely. I believe there must be a reason behind his actions. What do you all think?" He questioned.
"It sounds quite reasonable." The officials agreed.
"But what if he flees with the materials? We cannot rule out this possibility." Richard put forward his concern.
"We will blockade the city. Order the police force to keep tracking their locations and see where they are headed. If they are really thinking of escaping, then we will directly make our moves. We won't let him run amok here." Luther too threw his disguise and spoke coldly.
He had long barbaric hair with multiple scars on his face, showing a hint of ruthlessness.
"Nevertheless, knowing his character, he should be moving towards his own place." Luther was confident.
"I hope so. Otherwise, we have to forcefully stop him, not caring about the materials." Richard said.
"Now talking about the guilds. When are they gathering?" Luther scoffed, raising his eyebrows.
"They shut up right away when we mentioned you sirs were arriving. I trust they will already be at our headquarters ready to welcome you." An old official replied.
"I see. Then let's meet with them. I want to know what actually happened to Igor." Luther was curious.
"Yeah. There's no hurry. We want to understand everything in detail." Richard felt a bit tired, rushing all the way here.

Soon, the news reporters were suppressed on the scene. A barricade was set up, surrounding the commercial center. Armed police forces were standing everywhere, observing the site with aggression.
Nobody was allowed to enter the area. This included the news reporters. Some cocky fellows who attempted were beaten black and blue, sending warnings to the others.
The chiefs of almost all the news agencies received phone calls one after another, getting threatened till their faces turned pale. In this way, the overall situation was contained by the Military.
Although some leaks spread here and there, they would fade away with time due to a lack of proof. As for the curious ones, they couldn't do anything. The military was too strict.
In the meantime, several large trucks led by a sedan reached the Skull Gang.
"It's the Lord!"
The guards opened the door respectfully, studying the trucks peculiarly.
"What did the Lord bring after leaving earlier this morning?" This was in everyone's mind. Thus, the gangsters neared the trucks and stood quietly.
Only when he exited, did they all react.
"My Lord!" They bowed.
Glancing at everyone, he nodded. "Drop the contents of the first three trucks in my backyard. As for the remaining ones, store them in the warehouse."
"Yes." The gangsters immediately went to work while Cayden walked in the direction of his house with Bryan following behind.
"You can manage those items however you like. However, remember that people's greed knows no bounds. Don't bite more than what you can chew." Cayden reminded him.
"I understand." Bryan knew what he meant. Any items above B-ranked if taken outside would astonish everyone. Who knew how many people would be tempted if they discerned the amounts of such items they had?
"I will be in seclusion for a while. Don't disturb me unless it's something important." Without waiting for his response, Cayden disappeared from the spot.
"Lord!"
"Haiz! I couldn't stop him. I wanted to ask what to do if the guilds and the military barge in here. I don't think they will let us go." Bryan sighed, shaking his head.
"Goddam! It's the legendary AWP-56. I heard that it can pierce the skin of an A-ranked monster."
"Holy Fuck! It's the Red Diamond Armor. It's capable of withstanding all attacks from any B-ranked warriors."
"My God! It's the…."
Similar shouts of excitement and shock rang in the vicinity, attracting the attention of Mike who was busy managing the gang's finances in one of the rooms.
"What are they yelling for?"
The moment he came out, he faltered to the ground and had the same reaction as them. He couldn't comprehend the scene in front of him. It felt surreal.
"Bryan, what did the Lord do outside?" Noticing Bryan, he stood up and inquired hurriedly.
"It's like this…" Bryan explained helplessly.
"Damn! We are in big trouble, and these guys are still celebrating." Mike cursed, controlling his emotions.
"Shut up! You all." He shouted, going into the middle.
"Did you all forget what the Lord requested?"
"Hurry up!"
He gave instructions, finishing the job in a couple of hours. Afterward, he notified them of the current situation, of course omitting the part where their Lord plundered the commercial center.
Who knows how many of them could maintain their calm hearing this? Despite the gangsters being puzzled about where these items came from, they didn't question anything since they got free weapons and armor.
Based on their rank, Mike and Bryan distributed corresponding sets of items, making them nearly faint from happiness. The rest of the rarer treasures then were locked in the warehouse.
After that, he forbade anyone from leaving their headquarters without permission. Only then, did he let them go.
"Phew! It's tiring." Mike sighed with relief.
"It's been hard on you." Bryan smiled at him, playing with a new sharp blade in his hand.
"Aren't you worried?" Mike asked in a sad tone.
"Of course, I am. I always feel like I am walking on a knife's edge. Who knows what will happen tomorrow?" Bryan answered calmly.
"That's why you should stop thinking of the future. You should enjoy the present. Take this gauntlet and gold armor. Both of them are A-ranked. They should be suitable for you." Bryan passed them to him.
"Thanks! Come join me for a drink." Mike gradually cheered up, forgetting the troublesome matters.
