That night Leon was very taken into the phone call that Emily realised that something was wrong but didn't know how to ask him.
Though they were open with each other still there were some things that she couldn't just ask and could only wait for him to tell her.
Unlike other days since they started sharing the bed today Emily was the first to get on the bed since Leon was still busy dealing with whatever was going on and just like that she end up sleeping without him until late at night. Subconsciously she could feel someone sink into the bed and slept close to her quietly, Emily could tell that it was him, these past few days she had come to familiarise herself with his scent and could tell that it was Leon.
But what he did after suddenly made her stiffen he hugged her to sleep like it was nothing, Emily was not completely taken by sleep as she was still anxious to sleep alone.
