Rebecca turned towards him and said, ''My night is ruined I'll be going back home.'' As she was about to leave he held her hand and pulled her close to him, ''I know you can fight so why not come with me to the battlefield and let's slay our enemies together.''

Rebecca considered, she needed to get away from all this Imperial drama with Luther going crazy and Jack just in the corner she needed a break. Rebecca kissed him on the cheek before entering the carriage, she returned home and found unfamiliar knights stationed in front of her manor.

She wanted to enter but they blocked her, she shouted, ''What is the meaning of this? I'm I not allowed to enter my own house anymore? You know I can cut of your heads and hang them on my wall.'' The knights shivered but still held their ground not allowing her inside, although she was scary their masters wrath was even more terrifying.

She grunted in frustration, first her night was ruined then she's not allowed to enter her own house, she wasn't even with money to rent a small inn nearby. Where was she supposed to go then it hit her, Mo beiyong stayes in the Imperial palace maybe he could lend her a room.

She turned back and entered her carriage and told the coachman to take her to the Imperial palace, when she arrived it was already late. She was walking down the halls when she bumped into Luther, there was a sneer on his face, ''Here to come to beg for forgiveness?'' Rebecca laughed, ''In your dreams, I'm here to ask General Mo to lend me a room let me stay for the night.''

After finishing her sentence she walked past Luther holding her head held high, she called a nearby maid and ordered her to lead her to General Mo's room. She arrived at a large silver gate, she couldn't care less about somebody opening the door for her so she just walked in.

There she saw Mo beiyong sitting on a couch and a middle aged woman talking to him, ''I hope I'm not interrupting anything?'' The chatting duo looked up and the middle aged woman's eyes widened, she walked towards her before cupping her cheeks. ''Oh my, you look so beautiful, my son has been telling me a lot about you.''

Rebecca raised her eyebrows at Mo beiyong but he remained the unreadable expression on his face, he strode towards his mother and said, ''Now now, I have something to talk to her about.'' She nodded before he led Rebecca to another room, ''What did you come here for'' She replied, ''Well somebody ordered knights to stay around my house and they aren't letting me in, I was wondering if you can lend me a room to use?''

He sighed and said, ''They ordered that no woman is allowed to stay in my room, I would have said that you should ask Li Hua but your on bad terms the only option I have is Luther.''

Rebecca thanked him before leaving his room, she couldn't go to Luther or else her pride would be wounded but she didn't have any option left but to go.

She walked towards a luxurious room and knocked on the door, a Butler came and opened the door shortly after. He let her in and beconked her to sit, Rebecca sat while holding the hem of her dress tightly, her back was sweating but she still remained calm.

The Butler came back with Luther behind him, Luther sat on the couch and dismissed the Butler before asking, ''What do you want?''Rebecca replied, ''Can you PLEASE lend me a room to stay?'' She barely said through her gritted teeth, Luther clapped his hands implying she fianally lowered her pride.

He held her hand firmly before looking into her eyes, ''Of course I can lend you but what you did at the banquet hurt my pride but I still love you very much. Just marry me and you can sit on the seat all women want.''

Rebecca removed her hand from his and replied, ''But I don't love you please understand, I'm begging you!'' He stood up and sighed, ''Alright I understand you love my half brother so I won't bother you now.'' He left and a maid led Rebecca to another spacious room, the tub was filled with hot water so Rebecca took her bath before taking the robes that were laid for her.

She entered the bed and pulled the sheets over her shoulders before closing her eyes, tomorrow was going to change her life.
