Charles refused to give up. He drove around the city where most of the populace stay awake for nightclubs and other evening activities. Using the pictures on his phone, he asked around if anyone had seen Karis somewhere in town. He asked all kinds of people he could find; men and women, old and young, there were even gays who wanted to bed him and promised they would help him to find her, but he could only thank them for taking interest in him and apologize at the same time for not having the same interest as them.
It was past midnight already when he received a call from his father asking him where he was. "I'm outside looking for her."
"Son, she didn't want to have anything to do with you anymore. Just leave her be." 'Toot. Toot. Toot. Toot.' Mr. Harry looked at his phone with a deep frown and sighed. "I already gave you a chance. It was you who kept pushing her away and now you want to find her. What kind of nonsense is that?"
