Eli wasn't happy that Allen was there, although he didn't have any problem with him as a doctor, he just didn't like it when Belle smiled and laughed genuinely because of him.
"I'm done," he said and stood to wash his hands in the comfort room. Belle followed him with her gaze upon realizing how little food he ate. She wanted to see if he was looking unwell, but he kept a poker face all the time.
"Belle, thank you for inviting me to have lunch with you all. I really appreciate the time and company," Karis commented with a faint smile on her face. "How I wish we'd been friends for a long time."
