The castle felt much bigger in person.
Despite it standing on a hill, looking down on every bit of Hydrogia, it didn't seem big until they rode up that hill and stood at the base of the massive structure.
The grounds were immaculately in order and there wasn't a plant out of place. Henry would think that the flowers in the gardens were enchanted in order to survive this late into the season.
There were lanterns and candles all over the path leading up to the castle and they seemed to be necessary as the sun dipped into the horizon, causing a magnificent orange and pink sunset to erupt under the clouds.
To his surprise, as they hopped off of their horses, there were stablehands immediately there to take the horses two at a time back to the stables. He wondered if they were fed much better and allowed to lay on softer material when they were in the palace. It was a life he hoped he could provide to all of his horses one day.
