Henry only stayed in bed for one more day before he felt too restless to sit still.
Even with vicious coughing spells, he had the energy to burn after eating a few meals and wanted to be helpful in some way rather than staying in bed all the time. His nagging was starting to annoy Stanley and some of the other wizards who required silence to work.
On the first day, Henry got out of bed and walked around the infirmary tent to talk to other patients. He kept getting told to find a book to read and lay back in bed. Stanley's justification was that Henry's cough seemed to get more agitated as he moved around for longer.
On the second day, Henry insisted there must be something he could do to help the wizards. Eventually, the old healer relented and allowed Henry to join the other knights and apprentices for dinner.
