Henry couldn't express how great it was to see his mother and Commander Lothian after being away from Hydrogia for over a year.
They were so in tune with one another. Henry could only imagine that they were certainly living with one another by that point. It was about time the two of them got past the undeserved loneliness and found happiness.
Commander Lothian seemed a bit less intense than usual, he even wore a lighter shirt than expected of someone who used to only wear black. Henry couldn't keep the knowing smirk off of his face as he observed him.
"Thank you for making this journey on last minute notice," Henry said to them, leading them to one of the sitting rooms where a maid had already started to bring in refreshments for them.
"Nobody can help these circumstances," Celia said, grabbing her son's hand before she took a seat on one of the comfortable chairs. "But where is Irene? I want to see who has stolen my son's heart."
