By the time they made it to the central valley of Tenetium, the summer was cooling down and a month had passed since they had left the Duke's Tower. Leaves would soon start changing colors and match the hair of the woman Henry loved.
The only measure of time Henry had was his growing desperation after having gone another two weeks without being able to even lay a finger on Irene. It was taking all of his control to keep the secret from the knights. He wouldn't tell them before he talked to her family.
It seemed that the perfect opportunity had befallen them.
In Tenetium's central valley lay the Litharion's home and the village that surrounded it. Irene told Henry that she wanted to take him there under the guise that he should meet with one of his advisors more often.
