In Tenetium, summer was in full swing and the valley was in chaos as construction of the walled city ensued.
During the apprentices' morning practices, Henry often dismissed Bren and brought him with him to the construction site to see how progress was coming along. He assured him that he would catch up on the practice by joining the knights later for a spar.
Henry found it important to show Bren more than just sword fighting. The usual schedule, he joined practices then tended to various things Henry asked him to or helped the rest of the apprentices with maintaining the knight's practice yard.
The apprentice was even able to witness his commander go to the construction site and help with physical labor. It was a side unexpected for someone of his status but important to see so Bren wouldn't have a jaded view of knights who held themselves above the rest of the world.
