Irene had tried to visit Henry the evening before but when she found that he was having dinner in his office, she decided she should give him a little bit of space. Knowing how often he spent in that place even before he was injured caused her to wonder if he had a lot of work he had to catch up on.
While she was a little bit sad that she wouldn't be able to check on him and make sure he was eating, she was simply happy that he felt well enough to leave his room.
In the previous days, she had been trying to work closely with Bren to hear a firsthand account of what had happened when Henry was injured. From Bren's perspective, it was so much worse than Henry had let on, though he said he didn't remember and she didn't hold it against him.
