Determined not to allow her heart to make decisions for her, Irene was pleased to see Henry keep to his study more. It would certainly help her get rid of the ridiculous crush her heart had decided to selfishly begin.
However, her peace was broken when Henry decided he would start attending morning practices.
Each time she saw his smiling face waiting for the others on the practice field, her heart would race which would quickly turn into frustration. Never had she allowed a man to get under her skin in the way that he had done so quickly and so effortlessly.
She knew it wasn't mature to blame him for everything considering he was only being kind to her, but she was scared.
