During the Knights of Hydrogia week in Tenetium, the weather grew progressively colder.
On one particularly biting morning, Henry woke up to low, foggy clouds that sat heavily in the valley. As the wind moved the clouds around, he was occasionally given a peak of the mountains and saw that snow had finally settled on the highest elevations. It was only a matter of time before the valley around them was covered in a blanket of snow.
It wasn't he who was going to have to teach the knights about living in snow, it was them who was going to have to teach him.
While he did get used to it during the Monster War, it felt like a lifetime away. Every aspect of living on a battlefield was miserable. The snow was hardly an afterthought in all of the other horrible things he witnessed during that time.
