The knights were thrilled that they had arrived so early in the day because the only thing Henry asked of them was to rest until the evening feast. If Henry was known for anything, it was feeding his knights and feeding them well.
He thought he had been happy when it was only him and a few others occupying his estate, but the buzz of knights all around filled up his heart and he was happy to share everything that was his with the others. It was another aspect he was still trying to come to terms with - that he would share his space with knights rather than a woman he wanted to call his own for the foreseeable future.
In the library, Henry decided to meet with Alix, Siverly, Felix, Irene, Trenton, and Maximus to get filled in on the journey.
