If there was ever a time to travel for war, it was certainly summer that someone should aim for.
As Henry and his knights moved towards Idona, the weather was fair and they had no issues sleeping outside. Fires were only used for food and the moon and stars lit their way at night. Even when the moon turned over, the vividness of the white speckles in the sky was enough.
Unlike when he went to Idona from Hydrogia, he didn't have to travel through a mountain pass. The mountains that surrounded Idona and separated Hydrogia from the dangerous monster country were just south of where the Knights of Chemois had to travel. As they moved southeast, they found themselves going around the mountain pass.
