Henry was patrolling the outer edge of the village when he heard Blade's call coming from the sky.
He had been building his trust with the bird for so long that he didn't even need to hold out his sword anymore for the giant bird to land on him.
Grateful he had been wearing gloves, Henry extended his arm. The bird who had been circling the sky tucked his wings in and started to dive.
For a moment, Henry was frightened at the speed in which the hawk had been approaching him but he still held out his arm, grimacing until the bird suddenly opened its wings and seemingly stopped in the sky for a graceful landing on the knight's arm.
"You know how to terrify someone," Henry muttered. "Though it's good to see you back so soon."
He placed the hawk on his shoulder and he felt a wing flap behind his head as the bird stabilized himself.
