While Henry was displeased with being interrupted, he knew it must be serious if Felix searched for him.
Once the door to the house was shut behind them, Felix walked down the wooden steps away from the house and towards the street, though he stopped once he was at the edge of what seemed to be the property.
No words needed to be shared between them as Henry finally unrolled the letter and read the words that would change the course of his next few months.
By the time he made it to the last word, his eyebrows were lowered and he could feel his hands shaking somewhat. There were suddenly so many more things to worry about.

The letter was addressed to the commander or second in command of the Knights of Chemois. It was a letter from Commander Lothian saying that the knights on their way home were intercepted and joining them on a trip east.
