Rosalind had to quickly excuse herself to go inside and feed Anna. Whenever she woke up, eating was the only thing that would calm her back down.
While Henry gave Rosalind privacy to do as she needed, he sat outside with a relaxed expression on his face as he looked up at the tree branches above him. Occasionally a breeze came through the village, rustling leaves and tossing his dark hair across his forehead. He quickly brushed it back with his fingers.
It felt like the two of them hadn't been apart for years by the way they seemed to pick right back up so easily. He hadn't meant to delve into the depths of his life so suddenly and had been hoping to learn more about Rosalind.
Once she was outside again, he vowed to ask her more about herself and her husband. He wanted to know everything because it would take his mind off of his own issues. The life Rosalind led sounded relatively peaceful.
