Henry and Felix were both able to tell quickly that the nobles cared most about stroking each other's egos rather than getting to business.
For the first hour of the meeting after the introductions, there was back and forth boasting about social feats and material items they had come into contact with. It seemed that they had been starved of socialization after the war had separated all of them and the north had been laden with monsters.
At least, there were monsters before Henry came in and put in a more concentrated effort with his knights. The monsters were either hunted or moved elsewhere and Henry's next problem was going to find where they moved. At least Chemois was getting safer for the time being.
