After the morning practices, Henry was satisfied with the outcome.
He was able to spar with a few knights he found impressive and observe the foundational skill each knight within the order possessed. It was clear that they were a group of unpracticed knights. However, their defensive nature was enough to make up for their lack of polished movements.
He didn't mind knights who were rough around the edges but Sir Alix had constantly reminded him that someone without sharp movements spent unnecessary energy. An efficient knight was better than one who simply barreled through each challenge, relying only on their strength.
Most of all, Henry felt small relief knowing that there were plenty among the knights who doubted him but none of them had been outwardly disrespectful - though it helped that they were wearing helmets so any looks of disdain were lost behind metal.
