How strange it was to be in the throne room once again. It was the very place he was knighted, received the Passing of Honor, and now where his ducal enthronement was taking place. He felt so much different than he did the times before.
People who terrified him at one point seemed so much smaller this time around. He thought that becoming a knight was an impossibility, yet there he stood, finding out that his glass roof had once again shattered and there was higher to rise.
When the herald spoke, Henry was permitted to face the people. To his surprise, there weren't any open looks of disdain. It was a wonderful yet horrible thing to be backed by the king because no one could outwardly criticize him. Any words of opposition would be uttered amongst themselves when they were out of the palace.
