Knights Henry wasn't familiar with were waiting for him in the village's square. Regardless, he was looking forward to working with them and seeing what sort of skills they would bring in the face of monsters. It was good to work alongside different kinds of knights so he would keep challenging himself with new strategies.
He saw shields strapped on two of their backs and their swords ready at their waists. The other without a shield had a bow and arrow on hand as well. It seemed he had made the right decision about who to bring with him on the patrol. A variety of skills would be helpful going forward.
Unlike earlier in the day, it was devoid of other people. As most who lived on the outskirts of larger communities or near forests, it was wisest to go inside at night to avoid the possibility of encountering monsters - showing the further importance of having knights on hand in case of emergency.
