The bedding was wrinkled and the knight's robe was open as he bore his naked body to what felt like the world. However, only he and the princess lay on a bed more comfortable than any he had ever laid on before.
One arm was underneath the princess and Henry's free hand was over his forehead as he tried to calm down after the princess had tested his limits once again.
She had a satisfied expression on her face as she stroked Henry's bare chest. It wasn't lost on her how patient he was with her and how insistent she was pushing on all of his buttons and seeing what would make him respond to her.
"The feast will start soon," she uttered quietly, though it didn't seem she had any intention to stand up.
"Then you should return to your quarters and I'll finally get dressed," he said and turned his head so he could kiss her forehead.
"Are you trying to get me to leave?" she joked.
