Chapter 333 - Life as a Mute

Maximus soon followed when he completed the conversation with the girl. 

"Well, I got a kettle and some water out of her for now, let's go make some tea," Maximus said. "I'll stay here. You gather wood for a fire. I have flint and I'll burn the goblins while you get the firewood." 

Henry's arms gestured wide as if to say 'I've been saying that the whole time!' but the message wasn't received and he went into the forest. He was feeling lucky he somehow was able to keep hold of his hatchet despite all that had happened with the golem. 

After twenty minutes or so of cutting down a dry dying tree and sectioning it off into firewood and making a pile of bark they could use as kindling, Henry put his hatchet back on his belt and left the forest.
