A mage wearing a light brown robe appeared at the tent's door, pushing the thick material to the side and crossing her arms over her chest. She had white blonde hair and pale green eyes.
"What do the knights want?" she said, her voice seeming disinterested.
Her expression became more judgmental than concerned as she saw the stains on Henry's face and on his cream tunic.
"The commander didn't tell me anything," Maximus explained, his eyes widened.
Henry's shoulders dropped as he lost hope, but then he had an idea.
He gestured as if he was writing something. When the mage said yes, he pushed Maximus in the other direction, silently telling him to join the other knights.
After being invited into the tent, the mage brought Henry to a makeshift desk that had been made on the top of a flat stone. There she had a blank book and writing utensils.
