Henry put his mug down the moment Commander Lothian crossed his arms over his unnecessarily large chest in an imposing manner when his question wasn't immediately answered. The commander knew all too well that Henry was purposely dragging it out.
He found it amusing, though he would never tell Henry as much.
"I did talk to a mage, commander," Henry said. "Aunt Sylvia knows a great deal about monsters and magic, or, rather, her new roommate does."
The young knight narrowed his eyes somewhat, thinking of Callum's likely history with his aunt. If he knew Henry's mother on a personal level, he likely knew his aunt more than he let on as well.
Callum knew Sylvia in passing simply because she was someone who put forth effort to make others stay far away but if he was around Celia, her sister wasn't far off. Being from the same orphanage made their childhood memories a lot of the same.
"Then she left the peasant village as well?" Callum asked.
