"What's it to you?" the old mage asked. "Who's asking?"
Henry was surprised to hear that, though the man had the appearance of a wizard, he talked like a peasant in an equally as unsophisticated manner as Henry himself. At least when he was around nobles, he tried to clean up his words and speak a bit slower, but through and through he was still a peasant to his core.
However, Henry wondered if the man's reaction was having to do with thinking that Henry was in some way after Sylvia for her hobby of dark arts.
"Why do I have to inform you that I'm looking for my aunt?" Henry asked in an agitated tone. "Are you what's standing between me and her?"
For good measure, he put his hand on the onix sword at his side.
"If a knight wants a fight, I'll give him one," the mage said.
To Henry's surprise, the man's swirled his finger in the air and a barrier went around him as well.
