The princess and the knight sat in the carriage together silently on opposite benches and not looking at each other.
A servant had brought Henry's bag of dracor into the wagon and placed them inside of the carriage on the floor, assuming that the goods inside of it were precious.
After what they had experienced in the garden, Henry knew he wouldn't be able to control himself if he touched her again. She had asked him not to lose control but he thought he had been toeing the line far too close.
To keep his promise, he had to be completely silent.
Since it was late, the driver had to have a lantern on the front of the carriage as they went along. They tried to be inconspicuous about it so it wouldn't alert the people standing outside of the castle, but, because the princess was inside, they needed to have Royal Knights guarding it as well.
