By the time Henry and the commander had made it to the palace, they were surprised to see the rest of the Knights of Hydrogia being forced to wait outside.
"What is the meaning of this?" Commander Lothian snapped once he went through the large gate that led to the palace grounds.
When the knights saw the commander arrive, they cleared the way for him and he made it to the entrance of the castle before jumping off of his horse.
Outside of the main entrance of the castle, mostly women but a few men were crowding around the entrance trying to get in. Royal Knights stood in front of the massive wooden door with their swords drawn and crossed in front of the entrance.
"You will be tried for attempting to break into the castle," one of the knights said in a stern voice. "That is an act punishable by hanging if they find you in contempt of the royal family."
